I bought winter wheels and tyres and probably actually "needed" them (as in it was 2 or 3 degrees with damp, salty roads, for about a week. No snow yet here, slightly pointless, almost a waste of money!!! Never bothered with winter tyres/wheels before and the ONE TIME I DO it's like 11 degrees 3 days before Xmas.. Could have soldiered on with my Primacy HP's but then it's the wheels getting covered in sheet...
Um how much are you thinking you'll get? You should get a lump payout plus ask to keep the car at no cost. This has happened countless times on ukmkivs.net - Sell it as Salvage, someone will have it. Most end up with £2-3k more than the price of the car especially if modded.
By the time you've spent money fixing up a shitheap you'd have been better off buying a decent car to begin with.
Get a Polo GT TDI 130. Remap to 180 straight away, very quick.
He died at like 24 years old. I'd rather live to be 70 and have a boring life than die before my prime. Nothing amazing, special or interesting about dying because you're a moron.
Fiesta was boring.
0:51 i suspect either a 30 or 40 limit which you are of course keeping to!! no reason to blank out a speedo if you don't speed!!
1:20 what the hell are you thinking is your fiesta a space shuttle? this is the reason i hate buying used cars because people just jump them over speedbumps breaks everything!!
Careful Jake, getting into a debate about anything vaugley car/math/science related with Alex can end in hours of eating ice-cream not really caring either way.
surprised you only took the 2 photos. surely it takes 13 to get a true representation of your wheels.
ps my winters are better than yours they are tangoed! to be fair yours look ok, they look like what, 15s? surprised they fitted over the brakes.
no idea. just crank it without spark plus out or something job done. don't worry about it half of the time the more you do, the more you make it worse.
Having an engine revving at 5000rpm with no load on it is just asking for a shot rod. Neither should an engine idle. It have the fluids and filters changed (all of them, oil+filter, air filter, new fuel plus fuel filter, coolant) and after the oil is changed then do as e2 mustang says, stop it from starting and crank the engine for a few seconds. Then put fuse/plugs back in and then allow to idle for about a minute, this builds oil pressure and lubricates surfaces internally.
Then you want to take it for a drive. Keep revs and engine loading low (so between 1500 and 2500 rpm, avoid chugging up hills in a high gear, don't accelerate hard, etc) and allow the engine to warm up to temperature.
Idling a cold engine is worse than driving it in a way in which a cold engine should be driven.
